| Project Overview | The City of Perth engaged JJR to assess the lighting of footpaths, public areas, roads and intersections across the City of Perth, and investigate whether existing lighting met the applicable lighting categories. |
| JJR Involvement | JJR’s experienced electrical engineers assessed the illumination of footpaths, public areas, roads and intersections across the City of Perth to determine compliance with the applicable categories of AS/NZS 1158.3.1:2020.
The assessment was carried out using a data logging lux meter taking multiple illuminance readings, in both the horizontal and vertical direction for footpaths and public areas, and the horizontal direction for roads and intersections. An assessment report was provided to the client, which included the data analysis collated using a lux meter, results of the GIS data analysis in the GeoPackage format, and recommendations. |
