| Project Overview | Cardinia Shire Council engaged JJR to undertake Level 2 and Level 3 inspections of Council’s bridges and bridge-like structures and provide advisory services to Council. |
| JJR Involvement | JJR’s experienced engineers conducted Level 2 inspections for 107 structures consisting of 48 pedestrian bridges, 3 road bridges, 20 jetties and platforms and 36 pathways; and Level 3 investigations for 14 structures consisting of 2 pedestrian bridges, 3 road bridges, 3 jetties and platforms and 6 pathways, in accordance with the VicRoads standards.
Individual reports were prepared for each structure, which included physical inspections as well as the use of drones with a 4K camera, photographic evidence, and an overall condition rating with recommendations for maintenance and budgeting schedules. |
