Project Overview Barcaldine Airport is a regional airfield located in Central Queensland. The airport requires upgrades to existing facilities including the aeronautical ground lighting, illuminated wind indicator and the apron lighting.
JJR Involvement The tender assessment services provided for the client throughout the project included:

  • Developing design methodology including remuneration to consultants;
  • Developing installation and commissioning methodology;
  • Preparation of program schedule including any shutdown periods for the airport;

The final deliverable was a preferred contractor to the client with assessment reports.
