Hobart City Council engaged JJR to provide a detailed design and documentation for the installation of a Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT). |
| JJR Involvement |
The scope of works for JJR included:
- Geotechnical investigations to determine soil conditions;
- Hydraulic modelling to demonstrate system performance under normal flow and storm flow conditions;
- Detailed design drawings developed for the installation works;
- Establish safe access to the GPT:
- To provide on-going cleaning and maintenance; and
- Due to proximity of overhead high-voltage lines and other services relative to the weight and size of the GPT unit.
