Project Overview	City of Casey (Council) engaged JJR to undertake structural and electrical inspections, assessment, and report on Council’s approximately 700 sports lighting towers, installed at approximately 48 locations.
JJR Involvement	JJR’s experienced structural engineers completed structural and electrical inspections and audit of sports lighting towers, which were delivered to Council in an inspection report that included: Record of all inspection processes, observations and outcomes; Details of internal and external corrosion and natural deterioration; Details of the material thickness, remaining strength and overall structural condition of each pole; Assessment of the condition, structural integrity and remaining life of each pole; Assessment of the electrical safety of each lighting installation; Risk rating for each defect; Prioritised list of recommendations as to rectification works for all defects with each tower; Recommendations of any preventative measures to protect poles from corrosion or other damage; and Quality digital images depicting the conditions of each pole.
