Project Overview The client was required to submit detailed design drawings in accordance with the SEQ W&S D&C Code, certified by a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) for a property in Mermaid Beach.
JJR Involvement CCTV survey of the existing sewer pipeline was obtained to confirm that the condition of the existing system could facilitate additional load.

The CCTV survey outcomes and deliverables included:

  • Sewer line was in good condition;
  • Hydraulic calculations were developed confirming that the existing sewer would have sufficient capacity for an additional housing connection; and
  • Drawings were produced indicating a maintenance hole at the intersection of the proposed house drain sewer connection if connecting from the sewer in the road.
